We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Analyst IV at our Torrey Pines, San Diego, CA location. The Business Analyst will be part of the Systems & Infrastructure team maintaining and enhancing daily systems operations, and improving the technical experience of Contracts, Procurement and Proposals Management (CPPM). The selected candidate will lead and perform efforts for analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and assist with developing new and modified business processing systems and work with Management to present results and evaluate improvement efforts. The selected candidate will closely work with users providing SAP and other CPPM applications support, collaborating to improve process and tools to improve efficiency and user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leads efforts to analyze, validate, and develop business and technical process requirements for Contracts and Purchasing department. Develops systems requirements, techniques, and controls.
  • Leads and/or participates in implementation efforts and requirements.
  • Responsible for supporting internal software needs for organization as they are implemented.
  • Responsible for testing/training/implementation of various systemic processes that align with business needs.
  • Represents the business to gather/define requirements and business cases for the technology developments, and determines business requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
  • Develops user requirement specifications. Ensures consistency, traceability, feasibility, and completeness.
  • Develops hard copy and electronic reports/charts/dashboards as required. Utilizes analysis models, prototypes, and scenarios.
  • Participates in, and may lead, the development and implementation of requirement practices and processes and the development of procedures and tools.
  • Leads the development and/or develops applications based on requirements
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Utilizes MS office Suite, SAP, and other applications.
  • Able to work on assigned tasks once assigned and trained.
  • Available to all business levels to ensure all day-to-day processes are supported.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • Collaborate with other teams: Business Process functional, Application development, and Technology Services teams.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related field and ten or more years experience as a business process analyst working with computerized management systems to include, but not limited to, product life cycle systems. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • SQL or other programing skills required.
  • Experience with applications testing and implementation supporting technical applications.
  • Experience developing software applications.
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of applications.
  • Must have a good knowledge of business process/life cycle management principles, theories and concepts and a general understanding of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience with Software methodologies and documentation analysis.
  • SAP Proficient, with strong emphasis on SAP materials management/procure to pay/supply chain and/or proposal to cash/contracts/order to Cash.
  • Power BI or other reporting tools experience.
  • Aggressive problem solver who can independently research best practices and recommend solutions.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Good verbal and written communications and presentations skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.

Salary:$98,100 - $171,398
