We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Supervisor to join our Information Technology team in San Diego, CA.

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations associated with maintaining, analyzing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing computer systems, hardware, software and computer peripherals. Plans and directs subordinate activity to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies. Develops documentation and reports to reflect department activities. Participates in the selection, retention and development of personnel including interviewing, performance appraisals and promotion recommendations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides leadership and directs the daily operation of the department by prioritizing and scheduling work assignments to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware, software and computer peripherals.
  • Participates in the development of department objectives and ensures achievement of the objectives.
  • Develops, implements and monitors standard procedures for the timely and accurate completion of assign tasks.
  • Researches and evaluates new technologies including software, hardware and computer systems and recommends purchases based on those technology developments.
  • Represents the department as the prime contact with internal senior management and external representatives.
  • Participates in the selection, retention and development of personnel including interviewing, performance appraisals and promotion recommendations; develops programs and procedures for the training of personnel.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related fields and nine or more years progressively complex experience in technical support including three or more years supervisory experience. Additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must have a valid California class C driver's license.
  • This position requires strong data analytics.
  • Must demonstrate a complete working knowledge and understanding of PC Support principles, concepts, theories, regulations and practices; and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines and milestones.
  • Must be customer focused and possess the ability analyze and resolve technical and management issues; strong verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings; strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, including providing direction to and scheduling work of assigned staff, management and outside representatives; and strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Salary:$73,700 - $128,780
