As an experienced PLM Teamcenter technical architect, we have exciting opportunity for you at GA to help build solutions for our Engineering community on the Siemens Teamcenter solution stack. This job requires you to have excellent Teamcenter coding skills, detailed knowledge of the workflow handlers, Data Model, customizations, and integrations. You should be able to modify , extend , customize the behavior of tasks in workflows, you should be able to customize , or personalize the out of box UX experiences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide Technical- and Domain-Expertise on complex projects.
  • Work closely with the ITS team and key stakeholders to understand requirements, owning specifications and design documents, and deploy the applications.
  • Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
  • Lead customer workshops
  • Lead Technical teams
  • Participate in requirements gathering and technical specifications creation.
  • Lead the technical design activities
  • Development: configure the applications based on the functional and technical design.
  • Deployment / Implementation: Diagnose and resolve defects. Contribute to, and prepare, implementation plan details. Execute the implementation plan.
  • Programming: Write new, or modify existing, process extension based on physical design and/or programming specifications. This includes documenting the code.
  • Documentation: Document the configuration and architecture.
  • Maintenance: Analyze, design and produce solution enhancements.
  • Successfully supporting the management team in different project workstreams.
  • Drive and manage Product Lifecycle Planning, Program Execution, and Performance Management for Engineering applications and services throughout their product lifecycle:
  • Engage regularly with the PLM core team members - developing relationships, sharing best practices, identifying and managing dependencies, identifying opportunities for improvement, fostering teamwork and gaining synergies where applicable.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information system or related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • 8 + years of professional experience programming with Teamcenter or other Siemens PLM products
  • 10 + years of professional experience with Teamcenter or other Siemens PLM products.
  • Excellent coding & architecture skills in Java, C++ and Teamcenter client, server customization, Teamcenter services customization and SOA client development
  • Team cementer API development.
  • Client Customization using Teamcenter RAC API (Java & Eclipse Rich Client Platform).
  • Server Customization using Teamcenter ITK API (C/C++)
  • Data model and configuration using BMIDE and Teamcenter Applications: Workflows Designer, Access Manager, PLMXML, Project, Query Builder, Classification and Report Builder
  • Knowledge in one or several Teamcenter Topics: Requirement Management, Program Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Manufacturing, Reporting and Analytics (TCRA)
  • Teamcenter CAD Integrations (with CATIA, NX, Creo, AutoCAD etc)
  • Teamcenter ERP Integrations (T4S, T4O)
  • Dispatcher & Translation Services
  • Teamcenter Customization, UA Product Knowledge Workflow, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Preference Manager, MPP, BOM Management, Query, PLM XML
  • 4-Tier RAC & AWC
  • Teamcenter architecture, Data Model. Thorough understanding of architecture with Item, Item Revision, Dataset, Forms, Folders, BOM, GRM Relations etc.
  • Experience in TC operations such as, Data creation, Transfer ownership, Change Group & Role, Saved Query creation etc.
  • Experience to Catia, Part, Assembly & Drafting, Import-Export.
  • Experience with BMIDE Naming/Revision rules, Deep copy rules, Action rules
  • BMIDE Packaging, Hot & Cold deployment
  • Excellent exposure to real time customer environments, analyzing the business requirements, customization & implementation of Teamcenter product
  • Strong BMIDE configuration skills and expertise with the Teamcenter Data Model
  • Experience with configuring and administration of Active Workspace
  • Good knowledge of Classification, Administration, Security Model and Transfer modes
Desired Skills & Experience
  • AWC Declarative Programming , Experience in installing, configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server & CAD integration
  • Good knowledge of configuring & integrating Easy Plan, EWI, PlantSIM integration, OpsCenter, MES and Simatic IT with Teamcenter
  • Working Knowledge of enterprise solutions such as ERP, MES, ALM, and MDM is desired
  • Experience implementing cloud solutions for PLM enterprise applications is a plus
