The Advanced Programs group has an exciting opportunity in San Diego, CA (Poway, CA) for a Project Manager to coordinate across a diverse group functional teams to define, deploy, and sustain critical enterprise computer system networks to support a broad base of restricted IRAD and contractual development efforts. Candidate will be responsible for working with multiple stakeholders across the Enterprise to help generate requirements for effective information systems; develop computer architecture plans based on these requirements; support development of project schedules; work with supply chain to procure hardware; and support the installation and deployment and sustainment of these networks. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operational aspects of one or more projects and serves as the liaison between project management, senior management, and customer representatives regarding operational issues, scheduling requirements and/or budgeting issues. Primary work location is Poway, CA, but candidate will support the above responsibilities for GA-ASI’s planned expansion at sites across the country.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
  • Create project plan and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and spec goals are attained.
  • Collaborate with management and project teams.
  • Oversee and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.
  • Manage the coordination of departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or service
  • Interpret company-wide policies and procedures as they relate to the project
  • Develop and deliver progress reports.
  • Develop presentation to internal and external audiences as needed
  • Provide leadership, direction and guidance to employees working on assigned project.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations and objectives to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
  • Analyze the current infrastructure and develop requirements and processes for improvement.
  • Continually reviews status of the projects and budgets to ensure projects are completed within budge.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and thirteen or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least seven of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Microsoft / CISCO certifications or DIACAP training a plus.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (required for IA Cert Level I).
  • MCSE certification and/or other network related training.
  • Information Assurance (IA) Certification Level I.
  • A+ Certification.
  • Knowledge of SunOS and Java desired.
  • Experience in virtual imaging /system deployment / disc imaging a plus.

Salary:$125,810 - $229,670
