Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide administrative support to active projects, including contracts, IRADs and proposals.
  • Assist Program teams with documenting milestone achievements and submission of Contract Deliverables as needed.
  • Participate in project plan development, with focus on support requirements, to include manpower, infrastructure, information technology and other resource needs.
  • Coordinate with supporting organizations (facilities, security, IT, others) to ensure needs of active projects are met.
    • Track and manage facility requirements to include office/workspaces, secure labs, test equipment, communications equipment, etc.
    • Track and manage Security and IT requests as required to support active projects and infrastructure growth.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, prepare agendas, identify and record action items or decision.
  • Coordinate logistics to host government and/or partner company visitors.
  • Track and maintain business data (proposals, contract awards, RFI responses, etc.).
  • Train entry level admin assistants or department specialists as needed.
  • Continue group travel support until additional staff can be onboarded.
  • Participates in problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Develop appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records.
  • May represent the organization with outside organizations.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Conduct business activities following industry best practices, company processes and company procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and three or more years of progressive professional project administration experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate a general understanding of project administration principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Must have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes.
  • Must be customer focused and possess:
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions to a variety of problems;
  • Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings;
  • Good interpersonal skills enabling an effective interface with other professionals; and
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
