We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Project Administrator to join the Operations Business Management department within the Operational Excellence department. This position is responsible for the end-to-end administration of the CapEx and Forecast Management portfolios, from planning through execution. The project administrator will also be a key member supporting other Business Managers on key initiatives within Operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, prepare agendas, take minutes, identify and record action items or decision records.
  • Data capture and analytics to support the operations business management team with compliance and procedures.
  • Business operation tasks include, but are not limited to financial analysis, financial modeling, etc.
  • General support of Operations Business Management initiatives.
  • Coordinate across departments to identify areas of improvement, develop strategies to streamline and improve business practices.
  • Participates or leads improvement activities including identifying alternatives, research and analysis, development of new process, and implementation of solutions.
  • Participate in the program management of the CapEx and Forecast Inventory portfolios
  • Conduct research and provide analysis on initiatives to support decision-making processes.
  • Support in the preparation of project presentations, reports, and other project-related materials.
  • Works with cross functional stakeholders across all levels for requirements, analysis, design, development, test, and deliverables.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and associated documentation.
  • Conduct business activities following industry best practices, company processes and company procedures.
  • Provide operational business process guidance to cross-functional teams including templates, training, and performance indicators.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Participate in testing of various applications and analytical tools

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and six or more years of progressive professional project administration experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate a basic understanding of project administration principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with project team members and stakeholders across all levels.
  • Must have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and is a motivated self-starter
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be customer focused and possess:
    • the ability to identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions to a variety of non-routine problems;
    • strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings;
    • strong interpersonal skills enabling an effective interface with other professionals;
    • strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
