Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.

Under close supervision, this position performs a variety of activities in support of functional areas for one or more project/business units.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gathers, collects, records, reviews, tracks, and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Reports on the progress of work in process.
  • Responds to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal sources and may respond to verbal and written requests for information from authorized external parties and/or agencies. Interface with Depot Engineers, Program Office,
  • Production and Quality Control personnel, purchasing, in the processing, delivery and receipt of parts and completed work orders.
  • Provides administrative support to engineers in the Repair Depot department. Assignments are of moderate scope and importance where judgment is required in analyzing, interpreting, and making recommendations in resolving non-routine issues.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must demonstrate a basic understanding of assigned functional area principles, theories and concepts.
  • Must possess:
    • The ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
    • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Strong organization skills and the ability to establish priorities.
    • The ability to identify issues and solve routine problems.
    • Good analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document and report.
    • Full knowledge of computer operations and applications.
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential.
    • Considerable knowledge of computer operations and applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.

Salary:$38,230 - $56,838
