Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.

Under general direction, this position is responsible for analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processing systems. Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments; and determines system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Proficiency
  • Develop and implement automated business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint Online).
  • Design scalable workflows that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft 365 services and third-party platforms via connectors, gateways, and APIs.
  • Build data-driven dashboards and reports using Power BI to support decision-making processes.
  • Leverage SharePoint Online for document management and process design through lists and libraries.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
  • Analyze, document, and re-engineer business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort through automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify inefficiencies, and propose technical solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Create comprehensive process documentation, user guides, and training materials to support the rollout and adoption of automated solutions.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business processes and present Power Platform-based solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work effectively in both agile and traditional project delivery environments.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related field and six or more years experience as a business process analyst working with computerized management systems to include, but not limited to, product life cycle systems. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Power Automate – building automated workflows.
    • Power Apps – developing custom low-code apps.
    • Power BI – creating reports and dashboards.
    • SharePoint Online – utilizing for process integration.
  • Proficient in process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering.
  • Familiarity with data sources such as Microsoft Dataverse, Excel, and SQL.
  • Preferred Certifications (Optional but advantageous):
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certifications
