Job Summary

We are a software organization serving DoD, IC and International customers with a focus on AI, data fusion, and global situational awareness. Our integration team serves as the vital connective tissue between engineering and portfolio execution, ensuring products are transitioned smoothly and effectively into operational use.

The Lead for Integration and Innovation will oversee all integration teams across the business, ensuring effective migration of technical capabilities into portfolio delivery and manage the investigation and development of new technologies to augment existing and stand up new product lines for government and commercial sales. This leader will establish scalable practices for onboarding engineering products, enabling efficient collaboration between technical and business stakeholders. A key part of this role includes leadership and expansion of our Northern Virginia office, fostering a high-performing regional hub.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the senior business lead to manage and grow the Northern Virginia office, including team management, recruitment, and cross-organizational alignment
  • Lead the enterprise integration function across all portfolios and product teams
  • Inform and coordinate the near and long-term roadmap for IRAD investment and execution
  • Build and manage a cross-functional team responsible for planning and executing technical integrations
  • Standardize integration processes and ensure product maturity and readiness align with portfolio needs
  • Coordinate with product managers, R&D leads, and portfolio VPs to drive end-to-end capability delivery
  • Monitor integration timelines, dependencies, and risk across portfolios
  • Serve as a key voice in strategic planning regarding organizational changes, product roadmaps, customer needs, and operational readiness
  • Build and maintain relationships with government and commercial customers to influence business strategy and improve capture of new opportunities and inform long-term corporate strategy

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelors, masters or PhD in engineering or a related technical field as well as thirteen or more years of software engineering experience. Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment, and able to work extended hours and travel as required.
  • Must demonstrate:
    • An in-depth technical expertise in software development including applicable engineering principles,
    • Excellent project management and leadership skills that include organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones
    • The ability to resolve unusually complex management and technical problems.
    • Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.
