We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Services Aide to join our Facilities Team in Spanish Fork, Utah! This is a first shift position with working hours from 6:00am - 3:30pm.

Under close supervision with detailed instructions, this position is responsible for maintaining building, ground and office areas in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Performs a combination of routine duties including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and polishing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean assigned areas in accordance with established standards.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming offices, hallways, and entrances.
  • Polish furniture, fixtures, and trimmings as needed.
  • Report items requiring repair or hazardous conditions to the supervisor.
  • Follow established antiseptic techniques and utilize appropriate cleaning solutions for fixtures and restrooms.
  • Gather and dispose of trash, and wash and reline waste containers.
  • Observe all laws, regulations, and applicable obligations while conducting business on behalf of the company.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established operating procedures and practices.
  • Clean carpets as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess:
    • The ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English
    • a valid driver's license with a good driving record verified by the DMV.
    • the ability to use power equipment.
  • May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and may require lifting above shoulders.
  • The ability to work independently is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
