We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join our Facilities Team in Poway, CA!
Under close supervision with detailed instructions, this position performs medium and large employee moves and equipment relocation services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, relocate, and install office furniture and equipment.
- Coordinate and perform medium to large-scale employee moves and equipment relocations.
- Support daily conference room setups, office build-outs, and furniture disassembly tasks.
- Handle loading and unloading of materials and equipment for transport.
- Maintain accurate records and complete associated paperwork in a timely manner.
- Ensure the workplace and warehouse are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as fueling and washing.
- Follow established safety procedures and practices at all times.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the organization’s operations.
Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must demonstrate a basic understanding of facilities maintenance principles and concepts.
- Must have a working knowledge of and discretion in safely operating hand and power tools.
- A valid California driver's license with a good driving record verified by the DMV;
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and other mechanical drawings.
- Basic analytical ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to work with all levels of employees and to accurately communicate, document and report any issues.
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
- Two-year technical degree or trade school equivalent desirable.
Salary:$35,390 - $52,625
