Under minimal direction, this position is responsible for designing and implementing information technology
system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the
classified enterprise at GA&A. Solutions should be developed that support long range goals and objectives. This is a hands-on position and the candidate may function in a project leadership role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implements information technology system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the classified enterprise at GA&A.
  • Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.
  • Designs, configures, and maintains network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls
  • Implements hardening requirements on systems and devices such as DISA STIGs, SRGs, etc.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves information security and program support deficiencies.
  • Troubleshoots and develops solutions to complex technical problems.
  • May function in a leadership role and provide direction and guidance to lower level professional and support staff.
  • May represent the organization as a primary technical contact on projects to outside vendors and customers.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
  • Proficiency with the following technologies is required:
    • Authentication principles including federated authentication and multi-factor authentication
    • IPv4 Networks and associated network protocols and practices to include encryption for classified networks
    • Virtualization technologies for Windows and Linux hosts
    • Windows 10/11/Server troubleshooting and management
    • Storage technologies

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field and nine or more year's progressive experience in designing information technology system architecture. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate an in-depth technical expertise in the design of information technology system architecture principles, theories and concepts.
  • Must have strong organization skills including planning and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or completion dates. Possesses a breadth of knowledge about current and emerging infrastructure technologies.
  • Must be customer focused and possess:
    • In-scope final Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP and SCI access.
    • DoD 8140 compliant certification (e.g. CCNA, Security+).
    • the ability to identify and analyze issues and develop solutions to complex problems;
    • strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings;
    • strong interpersonal skill to interface with all levels of employees, management and external contacts; and
    • skills to design and troubleshoot across a wide range of technologies and operating systems (e.g. Windows Server, Cisco iOS, Linux).
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential.

Salary:$116,480 - $208,505
