We have an exciting opportunity for a Shuttle Driver in Poway, CA!

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for operating company vehicles such as shuttles, vans, light trucks and automobiles to perform transportation of shuttle passengers, a variety of pick-up and delivery tasks, and miscellaneous errands.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Transports passengers to various Company locations; may provide chauffeur services for company executives, board of directors and/or VIP visitors.
  • Operates pickup SUVSs, shuttles, trucks and vans. May operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Performs limited maintenance on vehicles such as fueling, washing, etc.; drives vehicles to preventive maintenance providers; performs routine inspection of vehicles.
  • May participate in relocating office furniture and equipment as required.
  • May participate in daily conference room set ups.
  • May deliver daily bank deposits and withdrawals for the Company treasury.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires High School diploma or equivalent and two or more years directly related experience.
  • Requires experience driving vehicles with a GVWR over 26,001 lbs. OR towing another vehicle weighing less than 10,000 lbs.
  • Requires a valid Class B driver license issued within the state of operation including appropriate endorsements, valid USDOT number and valid USDOT Medical Certificate/card.
  • This position is subject to:
    • (1) periodic DOT compliance audits including random drug and alcohol screening, driving history audits and required documentation;
    • (2) USDOT and FMCSA Safety Regulations;
    • (3) pre-hire 7-year background check, including DMV verification;
    • (4) pre-hire drug and alcohol screen.
  • CDL driving record must meet state and federal CDL and DOT minimum requirements. Must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for intrastate and interstate transport. Must be customer focused and possess:
    • (1) physical capability of handling awkward objects, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, climbing, sitting for long periods, etc;
    • (2) interpersonal skills and written communication skills to interface with employees and to accurately document and maintain records;
    • (3) basic knowledge of computer operations and applications and basic mathematical skills. May require a fork-lift operator's license.
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.

Salary:$41,290 - $61,375
