Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. GA-ASI is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Administrative Assistant to provide advanced administrative support to Strategic Development executives and teams. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can anticipate needs, streamline processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides advanced analytical and specialized administrative support to assist executives, administrators, and line and staff managers by managing complex tasks and addressing intricate administrative responsibilities.
  • Manages calendars, schedules meetings, coordinates travel arrangements, and completes expense reports for executives.
  • Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties.
  • Prepares and edits internal and external correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepares reports.
  • Ensures timely follow-up on tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks.
  • Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports/recommendations.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with six or more years of experience in a field related to the specialized functional area or unit of assignment.
  • Prior military service or experience in a Department of Defense administrative, operational, or support role is highly desirable.
  • Must exhibit a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, and concepts pertinent to the assigned functional area.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer operations and applications, with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to safeguard and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to set clear priorities, and a capacity to quickly understand and adapt to new concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify issues, interpret and clarify complex information, and resolve non-routine challenges that require thoughtful evaluation and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, enabling precise documentation, clear reporting, and effective collaboration with personnel at all levels, including management, customers, and vendors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable policies and procedures as well as a complete understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with flexibility to work extended hours as needed.

Salary:$65,410 - $99,888
