Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.
This position is responsible for directing the development, analysis and validation of operations research activities.
DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs activities in support of analysis, research, and documentation of data to support projects.
- Participates with executive management in the development and implementation of product strategy.
- Represents the company as a knowledgeable resource regarding performance and analytics.
- Establishes priorities and requirements; briefs customers and executive management.
- Directs the planning, attraction, selection, retention and development of personnel. 6.Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field and fifteen or more years of progressive operations research and planning experience with at least seven of the years in an engineering or scientific environment. Equivalent professional or military experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Must demonstrate extensive expertise in operations research concepts, techniques and standards.
- Must be able to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads and staff to meet established milestones.
- Must be customer focused.
- The ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of unusually complex issues.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees.
- The ability to represent the company and serve as a spokesperson on external projects and/or programs.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work on a self-initiated basis and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
Salary:$140,900 - $257,233
