We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Services Supervisor to join our Facilities Team in Poway, CA!

This position is responsible for managing the timely and proper maintenance of company areas which include buildings, grounds and office areas for multiple facilities. Plans and coordinates subordinate activities to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Maintains stock levels as required and may work with suppliers to maintain inventory. Reviews and approves time cards for correct and valid charges.
Analyzes equipment needs and makes recommendations to senior management.
Ensures health and safety practices and procedures are followed.
May establish and modify operational procedures for the department.
Interfaces with other departments, locations, and units to ensure maximum customer support. Prepare reports and documentation to reflect department activities on a regular basis and as requested.
Participates in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of staff. Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires education al training equivalent to the completion of a bachelor's degree and eight years or more years of progressive experience in environmental services.
  • Additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate a complete understanding of environmental services concepts, regulations, and practices.
  • Must be able to train personnel in the use of power equipment required for environmental services tasks, and must have leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines.
  • Must possess:
    • a valid California driver's license with a good driving record verified by the DMV;
    • the ability to resolve non-routine to moderately complex problems;
    • strong verbal and written communication skills;
    • good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees and management;
    • good computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.

Salary:$56,820 - $96,015
