Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.

Under limited supervision, this position supports functional areas such as finance, purchasing, human resources, or specific project/business/technical units. Responsibilities include maintaining, processing, reviewing, compiling, and potentially analyzing various reports, records, statistics, timelines, correspondence, and presentations, which may be sensitive and confidential. The role requires discretion, tact, and the ability to design processes to improve workflow and develop presentations. Interaction with all levels of employees, customers, vendors, and outside organizations is common. The position may involve providing direction to less experienced staff, with assignments requiring judgment in analyzing, interpreting, and resolving non-routine issues.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates the activities of one or more functional areas or project/business/technical units.
  • Gathers, collects, records, tracks, and verifies data and information from multiple sources.
  • Tracks and reports on the progress of unit work assignments and/or projects.
  • Maintains, develops, and updates electronic and hard copy reports and records, including sensitive and confidential materials, for various parties.
  • Responds to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal sources and authorized external parties/agencies.
  • Prepares requested reports and presentations in electronic and hard copy formats.
  • May deliver internal staff presentations.
  • May provide direction to less experienced staff.
  • Observes all laws, regulations, and applicable obligations while conducting business on behalf of the company.
  • Works safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and four or more years of experience in a field related to the specialized functional area or unit assigned.
  • Demonstrates considerable knowledge of assigned functional area principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities.
  • Ability to identify issues, solve problems, and respond to routine situations requiring interpretation.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, interpret, and explain moderately complex information.
  • Ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of personnel, including management, customers, and vendors.
  • Practical understanding of applicable policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Considerable knowledge of computer operations and applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required

Salary:$56,180 - $83,518
