Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.

Under consultative direction, this position is responsible for collecting, assessing, exploiting, interpreting and analyzing imagery, databases and other data sources. Leads mission planning, execution, briefing, and debriefing. Represents the Company as primary technical contact and subject matter expert and provides guidance and training to less experienced Technicians.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collect, assess, exploit, interpret and analyze imagery, databases and other data sources utilizing advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.
  • Produce intelligence and imagery derived products. Prioritize exploitation and provide quality assurance on all imagery products.
  • Recommend imaging sensor and data collection plan for reconnaissance and surveillance missions.
  • Develop appropriate electronic and hard-copy products, reports and records.
  • Participate with engineering in the development of new and existing technologies; analyze imagery data in consultation with engineering to determine improvements.
  • Develop and implement procedures and training syllabus coursework. Ensure standardization of Company procedures and practices.
  • Represent the Company as a primary technical contact.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced Technicians.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information and government classified material.
  • Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
