Job Summary

General Atomics Integrated Intelligence, Inc. (GA-Intelligence), an affiliate of General Atomics, maintains and deploys production systems for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense (DOD), and commercial industry. We build and develop best-in-class all domain and globally focused situational awareness capabilities, including THRESHER and DRAGONSPELL, that process petabytes of data from numerous streaming data sources in near real time. Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. GA-Intelligence is seeking a highly experienced Command and Control (C2) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our National Tactical team in support of satisfying critical national security capability development. This role demands a skilled professional with advanced expertise in DOW/Combatant Command (CCMD) warfighting doctrine, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Developmental/Operational Test and Evaluation (DT&E/OT&E), training and exercises, acquisition processes, and tactical/operational/strategic problem solving. The successful candidate will provide vision for National Tactical products, interface effectively with warfighters, DOD acquisitions offices, and GA-Intelligence personnel, provide instruction to GA-Intelligence personnel as well as forward-deployed National Tactical product users, helping to drive mission success at tactical, operational, and strategic levels for our business and for the warfighter.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply C2 expertise to create and improve National Tactical products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software developers, DOD acquisitions officials and warfighters to create/enhance National Tactical products.
  • Create and communicate product roadmaps, requirements mapping, and agile software development products.
  • Anticipate user needs and capability gaps and recommend priorities to address them.
  • Mentor/instruct GA-Intelligence personnel in your areas of expertise and support continuous improvement of National Tactical processes, methodologies, and products.
  • Lead GA-Intelligence team participation in DOD exercises, demonstrations, T&E, as well as live fire demonstrations.
  • Support GA-Intelligence business development with proposals, briefings, and consultation when required.
  • Develop and present briefings, reports, and visualizations that communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) for the majority of your full-time hours.
  • Travel as necessary.

Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in DOD command and control operations, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Significant hands-on experience operating C2 systems (e.g. E-2, E-3, Control and Reporting Centers, Air Operations Centers, Maritime Operations Centers).
  • Deep understanding of command and control and its application in execution of military operations, training, education, T&E, and exercises.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills; able to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences in both warfighting as well as business settings.
