Job Summary General Atomics Integrated Intelligence Inc. (GA-Intelligence) maintains and deploys production systems for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial industry. We build and develop best-in-class all domain and globally focused situational awareness capabilities that process petabytes of data from numerous streaming data sources in near real time. Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenology to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been and what it's doing. All of this "data to knowledge" is made available to end users in our own browser-based application for visualization, analysis, and understanding. We always want to do more, and that's where you come in!
Our proprietary technology – Optix – ingests global datasets from all domains (air, maritime, ground and space) to form a consistent picture of the world. The platform contains analytic capabilities to explore and find actionable information for decision makers – in many cases looking for diplomatic, informational, military, or economic advantage. Leveraging Optix, our research and analysis team equips decision makers with at depth report synthesized from Optix’s massive, streaming data sets, as well as, open-source and scholarly resources.


The OSINT Analyst is an expert in their domain, whether it be a region or topic. They are responsible for using GA’s tools, technology and data to build interesting and compelling intelligence related to activities, threats and trends. They will be required to provide actionable intelligence products to showcase the operational utility of our technology to key stakeholders within the organization, and to develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders. This position will be a liaison between users/customers and developers to provide input to the planning prioritization. The analyst will also learn the customer workflows and create requirements to meet and improve them.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITTIES:
  • Conduct research and analysis of information from multiple sources, including open and scholarly resources
  • Identify, track, and assess threats to the organization or its assets
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant geopolitical, economic, and social developments to identify emerging issues and trends
  • Collaborate with other analysts and subject matter experts to develop and refine analytical methodologies and tools
  • Produce intelligence products, including vignettes, briefings, reports, and assessments, for internal and external audiences
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in the field of intelligence analysis
  • Support the development and implementation of GA workflows and procedures related to intelligence analysis
  • Use GA (and other) data analysis tools and techniques to mine data and identify patterns and trends
  • Work with the GA portfolio leadership to share vision for the product / landscape / growth plans
  • Possesses requires excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to responsibly gather, maintain, and report on classified information, often in subjects such as counterterrorism, insurgency, cyber, and other threats to National Security.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in International and/or Public Policy, Intelligence, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in intelligence analysis or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of intelligence analysis techniques, methodologies, and best practices
  • Curiosity to self-start, explore and solve complex problems
  • Strong Customer Advocacy skills / Passion for the Customer
  • Knowledge of open sources and how to access and use them
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information to a range of audiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate deeply technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to synthesize many requirements into a common roadmap / list of priorities
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across many teams / stakeholders

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
