We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to support the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (DHS/CBP) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) program. With general supervision, this position is responsible for the administration of operational aspects of the program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administers daily operational aspects of the DHS/CBP O&M program, participates in project plan development.
  • Serves as a liaison between Operations, Engineering and Program Management.
  • Serves as the field operations secondary point of contact between GA-ASI and the DHS/CBP customer.
  • Coordinate with SubK on all supplier parts to ensure on-time delivery
  • Coordinate shipping and logistics between Poway & DHS/CBP facilities. Ensure all shipping and export documentation are completed and submitted as required.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and PowerPoint presentations to support program reviews and contract deliverables (i.e. internal Program Management Reviews, and DHS/CBP working group meetings). Responsible for capturing conference minutes and action items during the meeting.
  • Ensures execution and continuous improvement of standard maintenance processes. May be responsible for decisions that have a serious impact on outcomes such as changes to project schedules and/or allocation of resources.
  • Participates in problem solving with project managers, production planning, and customers.
  • Manages and participates in the planning of aircraft and GCS maintenance strategies and establish standard processes and tools.
  • Coordinate logistics activities for selected projects, including logistics planning, training, supply chain activities from point of manufacturing through support, deployment, freight, warehousing, customer freight, order management, customer warehousing, customer store shipment, and customer placement.
  • Identify aircraft maintenance related issues and provide leadership in developing solutions such as re-allocation of resources.
  • Monitor all contract logistics activities for compliance with standard processes.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline and three or more years of progressive professional project administration experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate a general understanding of project administration principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Proficient with SAP Material Resource and Planning (MRP) system.
  • Thorough understanding of the principles, concepts, and practices of aircraft maintenance management and experience demonstrating a broad application of those practices and standards is required.
  • Must have experience working with teams and organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.
  • Proven experience being able to identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions to a variety of problems.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.

Salary:$62,510 - $105,628
