Cryotech Deicing Technology, a division of General Atomics, is a leader in the development and manufacturing of deicing products for aircraft, runways and other applications.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Ft. Madison, Iowa. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for inside sales and customer support activities.


  • Processes orders, price and delivery quotes, stock availability, and expediting account collections through telephone, internet, and correspondence from Cryotech customers and company representatives.

  • Provides order status and pricing information to Cryotech customers.

  • Maintains database records and status reports of customer profiles.

  • Expedites orders at customer request.

  • Provides a high level of customer service and ensures customer satisfaction.

  • May participate in marketing and sales activities such as travel and customer development.

  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent along with two or more years related experience in sales or customer service with a basic understanding of office procedures, data compilation and record maintenance.

  • Must have good knowledge of computer operations and applications.

  • Must be customer focused and possess: (1) the ability to identify and analyze issues; (2) organization skills to maintain flow of work; (3) good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interface with internal employees and external customers; and, (4) the ability to use judgment in handling customer inquiries and tact and diplomacy in resolving customer problems.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
