Cryotech Deicing Technology, a division of General Atomics, is a leader in the development and manufacturing of deicing products for aircraft, runways and other applications.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join Cryotech Deicing Technology located in Fort Madison, Iowa. Reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager, Acetates, this role will be responsible for market and customer generation in the commercial deicing sector. The role is sales focused and will work closely with members of the Marketing Team to achieve sales goals. The Business Development Manager will be self-motivated and organized to drive sales within their business unit.

  • Develop market/product line business plans and capture plans to support sales in designated market segments
  • Plan and coordinate travel for customer visits, trainings, tradeshows and other industry events
  • Create product presentations and present in front of a variety of audiences that assist customers in proper application and use of products
  • Identify potential customers to develop and fosters partnerships while maintaining current customer relationships
  • Provide input for strategic direction based on industry data.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field and three or more years progressively complex marketing/sales experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Proven history of new market development and lead generation.
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities and provide input for strategic direction.
  • The ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
  • The ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects effectively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail sales (B2B)
  • Experience in de-icing industry

Salary:$62,460 - $105,533
