Job Summary General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.
Our Flight Test and Training Center (FTTC) located in Grand Forks, ND has a brand new opportunity for a Project Administrator to join their team in a full time capacity. This position has potential for growth within one of our newest and most innovative locations. It also offers a unique 9/80 work schedule allowing for every other Friday as an off day. This position also has a company funded pension and 401k alongside other exciting total compensation benefits.
For this role, you will be responsible for;
- Administration of operational aspects of ongoing projects working alongside business leaders.
- Administer daily operational aspects of one or more ongoing projects; participate in project plan development.
- Analyze project plans to ensure milestones and delivery requirements are met; ensure that all the key parties are advised.
- Participate in problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Develop appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records.
- Represent the organization with outside organizations.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Must demonstrate a basic understanding of project administration principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
- Must have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.
- Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes.
- Must be customer focused and possess:
- the ability to identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions to a variety of non-routine problems;
- good analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings;
- good interpersonal skills enabling an effective interface with other professionals; and
- good computer skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
Salary:$46,920 - $79,283
